Hey dear,
Although I never wanted to look into my past life, I have a few words to tell my younger self.
You are beautiful. Don’t look for others’ validation and praise. You are beautiful inside and out. It’s okay to stand up for your rights, even if it means being tough on those who hurt you. You always wanted to be a brave and strong girl and let me tell you that you have become one. Sometimes I miss being you.
You are unique and different from other girls. Be proud of it. Don’t beat yourself up to fit into the mold of other popular girls. You’re perfect. Don’t blame yourself for being shy, nervous and clumsy.
I know you(my younger self) are always uncertain about many things. You may often feel curious and puzzled, but that is completely normal.
You always feel low about your physical appearance.
Hey girl, you are average, but being average is actually an extraordinary thing.
Dear me, the future is not always as bright and successful as everyone around you tells you. They just want to encourage you but I want you to take a realistic approach. You should know that the life ahead is very difficult and to achieve something and improve your life, you must work really hard.
If you feel bad about being alone, don’t. Being alone is a blessing in disguise. It will make you stronger. You won’t be dependent. Instead, people will depend on you emotionally. Isn’t it an achievement?
Have fun and explore. You will never regret it. Don’t doubt yourself. You have strong instincts and are capable of exceptional judgment. I can tell you from the future that you are going to inspire people.
Do not hate others as it will consume your energy and diminish your positivity.
Be kind to yourself. The burden of other people’s misdeeds is causing you to feel drained.
Believe in yourself. Keep your heart open, and your mind curious. And it’s okay if you make mistakes.
I will always love you and stand by you, even when you’re wrong.
